We are so very grateful for all of the support that we get from our community and beyond. Every single donation counts – from an individual with only a little to give, to a larger company passionate about animal wellness. We wouldn’t be able to give all animals a second chance at life if it weren’t for the support we receive through grant opportunities, donations, and fundraising. 2024
Community Gaming Grant
This grant helps us with operating costs such as wages for our two full-time employees – these positions are crucial in managing our amazing volunteer team, animal care, and the operation of both our domestic and wildlife facilities.
Grant in Aid
This municipal grant has been going towards our ever-growing veterinary bills. From our regular spay/neuter surgeries to dental surgeries and emergency visits, our veterinary costs are a significant expense!
ReDi Grant
We are grateful for the support of Columbia Basin Trust to make our Assisted Spay/Neuter Program possible. This program is for low-income families to have their pets spayed/neutered – no more accidental litters!
Pet Valu, Golden BC
Through every day support to their June PAWS fundraising initiative, the amazing team at our local Pet Valu raise an incredible amount of money, food, and products for our animals.
Canada Summer Jobs
This year we are grateful to once again be able to employ a full-time summer staff member through this wage subsidy program. Spring and summer are our busiest times and the extra set of hands helps tremendously!
